INTERNATIONAL YOUTH CONFERENCE WITH PARTICIPATION OF RENOWNED SCIENTISTS-"ENGINEERING INFRASTRUCTURE AND COMPETITIVE BUSINESSES" МЛАДЕЖКА КОНФЕРЕНЦИЯ С УЧАСТИЕ НА УТВЪРДЕНИ УЧЕНИ „ИНЖЕНЕРНА ИНФРАСТРУКТУРА И КОНКУРЕНТЕН БИЗНЕС“

The ethical norms for publishing reports in the Collection of Scientific Works of International youth conference with participation of renowned scientists- "Engineering Infrastructure and competitive businesses" IYCPRC "EICB" must be followed by authors, reviewers and members of the International Scientific Committee.

OBLIGATIONS OF THE AUTHORS

Requirements for publishing

The authors of the scientific reports, which imply original scientific research, applied scientific research or applied research must present evidently the accomplished work. Fraudulent or deliberately allegations are unethical and unacceptable.

Access to research data and it's safe-keeping

The authors must publish the results of the original research. If they've used results of other authors, then they must quote it in appropriate manner. Plagiarism in all it's different forms- copying  or paraphrasing of major part of other publications (without merits). Announcing results of the research must allow other users to quote them. 

Originality and plagiarism

Authors must publish the results of their original research. If they're using others authors scientific research, then they're obligated to quote it. Plagiarism in all it's different forms- from copying or paraphrasing  a major part of other scientific report, to announcing other scientists's research results as yours. Plagiarism in all it's forms is strictly prohibited.

Repeated publication 

Authors must not present the same scientific report in other conferences! The authors must not present the same scientific data and results from the conducted research in more than one scientific report. Repeated publication its unethical and unacceptable. 

Cite sources

The authors must quote the publications they've used during the conduction of the research. Information, which is  obtained during a conversation, correspondence or discussion with third parties, must not be used without proper written permission from the author. 

Authorship of the report

Research data from group research should not be presented as individual. 

Danger for humans and animals

If the research is connected with the usage of humans or animals, the author should guarantee the abidance of the law and institutional safety requirements.

Conceded mistakes in the presented reports

The author is obligated to inform the scientific committee immediately if he finds major inaccuracies in the report. The report must be amended shortly after.

OBLIGATIONS OF THE REVIEWERS

Agility

Every  reviewer, who's proven to be incompetent in  reviewing the presented research or can't  check it on time, must inform the scientific committee and exclude himself of the process.

Privacy

All scientific reports, which are presented for reviewing must be treated as confidential documents. The documents must not be discussed with other persons, excluding authorization from the scientific committee

Objectivity requirements

Assessment must be done objectively. Personal criticism is inappropriate. The reviewers must justify their opinion clearly and with argumentation.

Cite sources

Every citing  of information or argument must be  cited properly. The reviewer must inform the author(s) if therse's any simulatiy or overlap in the information of the scientific reports.

Disclosure  and prevention  of conflict of interests 

Unpublished scientific reports must not be used by the reviewers in their own research, without their written permission. Confidential information or ideas, recieved in the process of reviewing must not be used for personal advantage. The revi must not involve in conflict of interests with the authors of the scientific reports. 

OBLIGATIONS OF THE SCIENTIFIC COMMITTEE 

Resolution for publishing

Publication of scientific reports in the Repertory of scientific works of IYCPRC "EICB" must be performed after mandatory review with positive resolution from the scientific committee of the conference. In such a way the quality and scientific value of the scientific reports in the Repertory of scientific works is assured. The main objective is to establish compilance regarding the expected ethical behavior of all participants, involved in the act of publishing: author, reviewer, publisher and community.

Private assessment

All presented scientific report are assesed by their intellectual value regardless of authors race, gender, sexual orientation, religious beliefs, ethnic origin, nationality or political views of the author. The assessment of the reviewed scientific report must be justified. In case of an unjustified assessment the scientific committee could review the report again.

Confidentiality 

Every member of the scientific committee must not reveal information, regarding the presented scientific report except to the author, potential reviewers and publisher only if it's necessery. 

Disclosure  and prevention  of conflict of interests 

Every member of the scientific committee of IYCPRC "EICB" must not use unpublished scientific reports and data for his own publications and research, without proper written permission from the authors. Member of the scientific committee of IYCPRC "EICB" must not be in conflict of interests with the authors and the reviewers.

Participaton and partnership in inevstigation of complains. 

When therse's a complaint of ethical nature, regarding a presented or published report, the scientific committee and the publisher must take actions immediately. The required actions include: debating with the author of the report, apprizing the liable authorities and scientific organizations and if the complaint is found to be justified, to take actions for it's adjustments..  Every act of unethical behavior regarding publishing, must be e assesed, even it's stated years after the publication.
